Hello Everyone !

My name is James.  Currently I am employed at BCIT as an instructor in the HVAC/R department.  I bring with me 28 years of experience as a technician in industry.  My journey in the field began at BCIT in 1995 as a student in the Co-Op program.  Having come full circle to return as an instructor the transition has been a great learning opportunity for me.  I am passionate about sharing knowledge with others and feel fortunate to accompany students as they begin their journey in the industry.  It truly is a rewarding experience.  I am the proud father of two young men who themselves are pursuing careers in trades.  My interests outside of work are travelling with my partner, biking, kayaking, music, reading, and pickleball.  I enrolled in VCC's PIDP program to foster my growth and professional development in the HVAC/R industry.  I look forward to the many challenges, learning opportunities, and connections made throughout my journey in the program.
